DONATE with a Gift of HOPE
A VERY SPECIAL PLEA FROM OUR FOUNDER
Dear Friends,
I NEED YOUR HELP! Since 9-11 donations have all but stopped. Grants we received were cut in
half. There for, money received since 9-11 did not meet our budget. Any
back up money we had are now gone.
The Amber Center is an all volunteer nonprofit
organization, including me. We have no paid staff. Grants and donations received
pay for programs and Amber Center expenses.
The Amber Center has received less then $25,000 a
year 13 of the 15 years that we have been in business. I would like to
continue to assist and educate families, communities and law enforcement - not
to mention the search for my daughter, Amber and her kidnapper. I will be hard
pressed to do so on a widow's pension with only medical coverage. The City of
Pinole has yet to include me on vision and dental care. Yet the man, James Odle,
who killed my husband, a Pinole Police Officer, has medical, vision and dental
care.
Thank you for your help.
Sincerely, Kim Swartz
